Process
This blanket was designed by Block Shop in Los Angeles, and handwoven by WomenWeave, an NGO based in Maheshwar, India. WomenWeave’s mission is to provide profitable, fulfilling livelihood, healthcare, and childcare for its collective of women weavers. By working with small-scale, local organic cotton growers and training women in traditional handloom techniques, WomenWeave supports a sustainable form of village economy.
